The Filipino American Symphony Orchestra presents FASO@15, a symphony concert paying tribute to the music of multi-awarded, internationally recognized APO Hiking Society. APO Hiking Society or APO, is a trio of singer-songwriters: Jim Paredes, Boboy Garovillo, and the late Danny Javier, who collectively produced a legacy of popular hits that spans 4 decades and 22 albums uniquely blending folk, pop, jazz, and rock. Under the musical direction of conductor Robert Shroder, FASO takes you on a historical journey through symphony music - from Filipino classics such as the kundiman to the music of APO, one of the pillars of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
