One More Productions at The GEM Theatre presents DAMN YANKEES

March 6 – April 13, 2025

Book by Douglass Wallop George Abbott                                                                                                                                                                              Music and Lyrics by Jerry Ross Richard Adler
Based on the novel, The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant by Douglass Wallop

Directed/Musically Directed by Damien Lorton

Damn Yankees is a Tony Award Winning Fosse musical for the whole family!

Middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. As young baseball sensation, Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life that he's left behind.

Light, fast-paced and devilishly clever, Damn Yankees is a homerun hit featuring classic musical theater songs, “Whatever Lola Wants,” “Heart,” and “A Little Brains, A Little Talent.”
