The worlds most celebrated animated film, shown on The Sorayas towering screen and accompanied by a live orchestra, is not to be missed. Restored to brilliant color and updated with excerpts from Fantasia 2000, this classic will ignite the imaginations of a new generation. Scored to some of the worlds most memorable classical compositions, Fantasia has provided four generations of children with their first introduction to the glorious sounds of an orchestras strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. The talented young musicians of the CSUN Symphony will be conducted by Richard Kaufman, a CSUN alumnus and longtime music coordinator for MGM Studios.
