Written by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, it follows Edwina Spoonapple, a thirteen-year-old with a passion for advice. Unlike her siblings who have clear talents, Edwina feels lost. However, she discovers her own unique strength – helping others navigate life's little troubles.
The musical unfolds through Edwina's "Advice-a-Palooza," a show she broadcasts from her family's garage. With the help of her quirky friends and supportive family, Edwina tackles everything from overcoming stage fright to navigating birthday party etiquette. Through catchy musical numbers and heartwarming stories, "Dear Edwina" celebrates the importance of friendship, self-belief, and finding your own way to shine.
