Coachella Valley Repertory’s Theatre Thursdays presents “Standing Zoom Only," an intimate evening with husband/wife musical team Diane Vincent and Sam Kriger. On July 2nd, grab a front row sofa as Diane and Same share stories and songs from their 30+ years in show business. You’re certain to laugh as they share memories of working with such legendary performers as Carol Burnett, Mickey Rooney, Donald O’Connor, Shirley Jones and many others.
Diane Vincent is an exceedingly gifted comedienne, recreating the character of Lucy Ricardo at Universal Studios Hollywood and as the official Lucy impersonator at the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival in Jamestown, New York. Vincent is an award winning regional theatre actress playing anything from farm hand to floozy, sexpot to servant. Diane wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed, award winning musical tribute Nuttin’ But Hutton, which enjoyed a successful premiere in Los Angeles. Sam Kriger is an award winning musical director, conductor, arranger, orchestrator, composer, producer, accompanist and vocal coach. Kriger has appeared on concert stages throughout the World – from the White House to the Sydney Opera House.
These two talented performers team up for “Standing Zoom Only”, part of CVRep Presents: Theatre Thursdays. Their humorous stories, interspersed with incredible music make this a must-see show.
To continue CVRep’s mission of providing educational, entertaining and thought-provoking presentations, CVRep is offering Theatre Thursdays, a weekly, virtual entertaining and learning opportunity. All presentations are offered via Zoom webinars to observe social distancing guidelines.
