Clarkston is the West Coast premiere of Samuel D. Hunter's poignant play, exploring the deep human connections formed between two unlikely friends. Set in Clarkston, Washington, the story follows Jake, portrayed by Michael Sturgis, a newly hired Costco worker escaping his privileged life due to a serious illness, and Chris, played by Sean Luc Rogers, a struggling writer dealing with family challenges. As they navigate their complicated relationship, the play unfolds their personal struggles and hopes within a backdrop of everyday life. Directed by Chris Fields, the production runs until October 21.
