Brilliant Traces by Cindy Lou Johnson, characterized by its emotional intensity and poignant dialogue, delves into themes of isolation, human connection, and healing. In contrast to our current age, where digital interactions often replace face-to-face communication, Brilliant Traces highlights the importance of real, human relationships. At the intimate 74-seat Zephyr Theatre, the audience will be thrust into a snow-covered cabin in Alaska to witness an unexpected encounter between two characters: Rosannah DeLuce, a runaway bride seeking refuge, and Henry Harry, a reclusive, disillusioned man.
The performances will take place at 8 pm on Thursday, August 15th through Saturday, August 17th and Thursday, August 22nd through Saturday, August 24th. Directed by Jenna Rossman and featuring actors Kirsten Hansen and Weston Barnwell, this one-act play runs 70 minutes.
The Zephyr Theatre is at 7456 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, Los Angeles, CA.
