From The End of the Road to Waterfalls, take a trip through some of the greatest songs in R&B history when Boyz II Men and TLC join forces for a double bill at the Hollywood Bowl. The best-selling R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men helped to define and redefine the sound of the 1990s. They emerged from Philadelphia at the beginning of the decade with the streetlight harmonies and hyped-up beats of New Jack Swing, and they brought it worldwide with songs like Motownphilly. The sophistication and sincerity of signature songs like The End of the Road, Ill Make Love to You, and One Sweet Day made them modern-day heirs to the Motown legacy, which they repaid on their album Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA. They perform their hits with Thomas Wilkins and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.TLC is responsible for some of the biggest songs ever recordedand so much more. As a trio, Lisa Left Eye Lopes, Tionne T-Boz Watkins, and Rozonda Chilli Thomas scored massive hits while singing movingly about female empowerment, safe sex, the AIDS epidemic, and the dangers of associating with scrubs. The blend of funk, hip-hop, and soul they developed on their breakthrough album, CrazySexyCool, led Rolling Stone to call it incredibly influential and a certified classic, yielding hits like Creep, Red Light Special, and the iconic Waterfalls. Following the death of Left Eye in 2002, the group went on hiatus, but T-Boz and Chilli return to bring the righteousness, pride, and tenacity of their songs back to the stage.
