The ultimate show-biz musical, "42nd Street" celebrates the magic of musical theatre. Aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer comes to NYC from Allentown, PA and lands her first job in a new Broadway show. But just before opening, the leading lady breaks her ankle. Will Peggy be able to step in and become a star?
Performers 9-18 years old from all over L.A. competed in a rigorous audition process to make it in the cast. These talented youth will be tapping Gower Champion's original Broadway dances in the blockbuster production numbers. The score is full of standards, including “We’re In the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” and the title song. This show will dazzle musical theatre lovers and tap-dance fans. Great for the entire family and for every generation. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Brand-new seats, free parking nearby, and great neighborhood restaurants all make for the perfect day at the theatre!
