Following their most successful show to date in July, (mostly)musicals will return to the E Spot Lounge on Monday, August 24 with LUCKY NUMBER, the company's 13th entry in a series of themed cabarets.

"We had a wonderful time in July at the E Spot Lounge and were delighted to be asked back for our August show," explains producer amy francis schott.

(mostly)musicals has built a reputation on finding a unique assortment of songs - mostly from musicals, but frequently featuring pop, jazz, and country - as well as an equally unique assortment of talent to perform them, from Broadway veterans to homegrown LA talent. This show will continue to surprise and delight audiences with numbers about numbers from Jason Robert Brown, Irving Berlin, Marvin Hamlisch, Leiber & Stoller, Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, Drew Fornarola, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk, and more.

Audiences can count on fantastic performances from singers featuring Rachel Tyler (West End: MISS SAIGON, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ), Eric B. Anthony (B'way: LION KING, HAIRSPRAY), Patricia Whiteman (upcoming A WHITEMAN SAMPLER), Sandra Benton (MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL), Sherry Mandujano (Two Broke Girls), Neil Taffe (Gladys Knight & the Pips, FAILURE: A LOVE STORY), Alli Miller (Cherry Poppins), Emerson Boatwright (BAGELS! THE MUSICAL), Amanda Kruger (Everly Snodgrass), David Crane (FORKS IN THE ROAD), Jason Peter Kennedy (Crown City's FORUM), Christina Morrell (Chromolume's THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS), and more!

Plus music direction by Gregory Nabours, one of LA's prime music directors and the award winning composer of THE TROUBLE WITH WORDS. Add in the open mic afterparty (hosted by Mark Jacobson) following the show, and it equals one exponentially entertaining evening!
