From writer/performer Elizabeth Claire Taylor comes a powerful one-woman show about living in the shadow of a legend. Directed by Cheryl King, Finding Elizabeth Taylor is a dynamic compare-and-contrast story. From too-tight pants to too-loose boyfriends, it's a funny, exciting and intimate look at what it's like to bear the moniker of a Hollywood's brightest star, and finding freedom and joy in the lessons to be learned there.

Finding Elizabeth Taylor was named Outstanding Solo Show at the 2011 Planet Connections Theatre Festival and was most recently performed at Fringe NYC 2012 with an extended run at Stage Left Studio.
Finding Elizabeth Taylor's performance schedule is Friday, June 14 at 10:00 pm; Saturday, June 15 at 5:30 pm; Monday, June 17 at 10:00 pm; Friday, June 21 at 8:30 pm; Saturday, June 22 at 11:30 pm and Sunday, June 23 at 2:00 pm at The Theatre Asylum (6320 Santa Monica Blvd). And, on Sunday, June 16, there will be a screening of the infamous biopic Liz & Dick with commentary by Elizabeth Claire Taylor, a self-proclaimed Elizabeth Taylor guru. The event starts at 7:00 pm at M Bar in Hollywood (1253 Vine Street).
Elizabeth Claire Taylor (Writer/Performer) graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained at The Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting. Her favorite theatrical credits are The Exonerated, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Elizabeth has been working as a professional plus-size model for over 8 years and has been featured in Oprah Magazine, Women's Day, Good Morning America and in the showrooms of Elie Tahari, J. Crew and VeraWang. She was recently the subject of a profile by the New York Times about her life in relation to her famous namesake and is currently developing a reality show with partner Fritz Brekeller.
