An 11:11 Experiment is thrilled to bring back, straight from its wildly successful run as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, the west coast premiere of ELEVATOR, with original music by Mario Marchetti, written and directed by Michael Leoni (The Playground) and produced by Michelle Kaufer and Schoen Smith. ELEVATOR will open on Thursday, July 29 and perform through Sunday, August 22 at the Hudson Guild Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

Based on the original short film, "Someplace In Between," (an Official Selection of the 2009 LA Shorts Film Festival), ELEVATOR is a comedic examination into the human psyche. When seven strangers get stuck in an elevator, it's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.

A Female CEO, A Business Man, An Assistant, A Hot Girl, A Musician, A Maintenance Man and a Goth Girl; from the outside, we think we know who they are, don't we? Yet, when forced together, given nothing but four walls and each other, these archetypes prove to be anything but "typical." Their preconceived notions, stereotypes and judgments are challenged at every turn, as one by one they shed their masks and reveal their truths.

Laced with musical sequences, ELEVATOR is an unexpected coming-of-age story that asks the fundamental question: Who are you behind closed doors?
