Worst Ever Productions presents its next set of shows as part of our Fall Season run of WORST AUDITION EVER at the Cavern Club in Silverlake - produced by Christine Lakin, Alec Ledd, Daniel A. Miles, and Corri English.
WORST AUDITION EVER is an evening of comedy about a group of artists (actors, directors, dancers, etc.) telling their real stores about the all too familiar audition process. The format is simple - a blank stage with one microphone - making the shared stories truly intimate and personal. For anyone who has ever had an embarrassing moment “putting themselves out there” in the name of art, WORST AUDITION EVER presents a wry and candid evening of some of the most awkward moments in artistic vulnerability – because pain is best served funny and with cocktails.
Artists participating in the WORST AUDTION EVER performance on Wednesday, October 17: Alex Ellis (Catch Me If You Can, Legally Blonde), Todd Masterson (UCB, Acme Theater), Melissa Hammans (The Breakup Notebook), Julie Brister (New Girl, Happy Endings), & Kathryn Fiore (Wedding Band, Reno 911!). Hosted by: Todd Buonopane (Surf! The Musical, 30 Rock).
In addition to the regular format show being performed on Wednesday, October 17, producers have brought together an incredible group of talent for their new spinoff show on Thursday, October 18 entitled WORST DATE EVER.
Let's face it, opening your heart up isn't easy and there are a lot of bumps (and humps) along the way. Come and commiserate at WORST DATE EVER! The gang behind the show WORST AUDITION EVER has done it again with an evening of real people opening their souls with hilarious stories of awkward hook ups, blind dates, and online hijinx! Laugh and cringe as you relive some of your own agonizing experiences - because pain is best served funny and with cocktails.
Artists participating in the WORST DATE EVER performance on Thursday, October 18: John Griffin (Hollywood Heights, CSI), Todd Masterson (UCB, Acme Theater), Melissa Hammans (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Todd Buonopane (Surf! The Musical, 30 Rock), & Cari Kabinoff (Room5). Hosted by: Tom Lenk (Much Ado About Nothing, Rock of Ages, Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
