Emma Hunton can be seen performing at Rockwell Table and Stage on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in "The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Clueless" as Tai. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Clueless, Director Daniel Segura has written a new adaptation of the cult classic which starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd. Just before her 32nd birthday, Laura Thomas' Emma finds herself going through a rough spot when her best friend Weston (Tom DeTrinis) convinces her to follow him down the rabbit hole of quotable one-liners known as Clueless. Together the two of them embody the roles of Cher and Amber, respectively, playing out the plot of the movie with a few twists and turns along the way. Guilty pleasure mashups, musical theatre, and rapping ensues, leading Emma back to her reality and helping to lead her back to the path of happiness that she was searching for before her timely trip back to the 90's.
The cast includes Peter Porte (Elton/Christian), Laura Thomas (Cher), Spencer Strong Smith (Josh), Levi Freeman (Elton/Christian), Chris Chatman (Murray), Corbin Reid (Dionne), Emma Hunton (Tai), Julia Black (Dionne), Michael Thomas Grant (Travis), Casey Hayden (Swing), Misha Reeves (Female Ensemble of One/Miss Geist et al.), Tom DeTrinis (Amber), Branton Lewis Cox (Male Ensemble of One/Mr. Hall et al.), and Aly French (Swing).
