Today, singer, songwriter and recording artist, Ben Lee, launches a brand new video for the track "The Body Of Love", from his current album Love is the Great Rebellion. Click below to watch the music video!

Ben explains the short film: "The Body of Love" is a song about the gentle ache of opening our heart to something bigger. To another human being, to vulnerability, to God, or even to another puppet .I was excited to collaborate on this video with my wife, Ione Skye, who directed, and the LA-based improv puppet troupe "The Sound and the Furry" who starred in and helped conceive the story. Thank you to Ione, Emily, Collin as well as to the real stars of the video - Penelope and Argyle - who help remind us that we all must eventually remember that we are one with the body of love."

Love is the Great Rebellion, featuring the tracks "Big Love," "Happiness," and "The Body Of Love", finds the Lee returning to his roots reminiscent of his 2005 album Awake is the New Sleep, which went double-platinum in Australia and spawned the hit "Catch My Disease." Lee reteamed withAwake's producer Brad Wood to record Love is the Great Rebellion (Liz Phair, Veruca Salt), who Lee's has worked extensity with over the course of his nine solo albums, including 1995's Grandpaw Would, 1997's Something to Remember Me By, and 2009's The Rebirth of Venus.

As previously mentioned, Lee has also self-released A Mix Tape from Ben Lee, which is available here. Fourteen years in the making, the Mixtape features vocal contributions from Zooey Deschanel, Ben Folds, Azure Ray, Sean Lennon, Neil Finn, and others. The Mixtape recordings are available on a "donate what you want" basis, beginning at $1, with all proceeds going to the Q'Ero Project, which supports the basic needs and development of the Q'ero people of Peru.
