"Life is a cabaret" this summer on Friday, August 10, 2007 and Saturday, August 25, 2007 at EAT on SUNSET, 1448 N. Gower St., Hollywood, CA.

This Summer, Café La Boheme (Upright Cabaret's home for 2 years) is "having a little work done" and the Upright Boys are taking their show on the road during the brief hiatus and EAT on SUNSET at Gower Studios in Hollywood is their first stop!

Join producer/hosts Shane Scheel and Chris Isaacson along with Music Director Trapper Felides under the stars (literally) for the two exciting shows in August. Dine under the stars on EAT's open air patio and watch the best talent in Los Angeles grace the Upright Stage for what could only be called Upright's Hollywood Nights! Each month, the cast of Upright parade the stage putting the soundtrack of their lives on display for sell-out audiences weaving a 90 minute tapestry of American song.

"Upright is more than an inventive cabaret show." Shane and Chris seek out restaurants with delicious food and excellent service to host the Upright Cabaret, and Eat on Sunset as part of the Patina Group is no exception. General Manager George Kleven, Chef Troy Futura and the impeccable staff present patrons with one of the finest dining experiences in Los Angeles.

In two remarkable years, Upright has featured cast members from over 50 Broadway productions as well as stars from "Ugly Betty," "Grey's Anatomy," "The OC," "Weeds," "How I Met Your Mother," "Dancing with the Stars," "American Idol," "Big Day," "Huff," "Newsradio," "My So-Called Life" and "NYPD Blue."
