This year's plays come from a diverse group of playwrights who range in age, gender, ethnicity and geographic location. The festival will provide a glimpse of "The Black Experience" as reflected today through comedies, dramas, and non-linear narratives that explore race, relationships, sexuality, family, cultural intersections, the war on terror and the history of blacks in America.

Auditions for Towne Street's Ten minute play festival will be held at the
Stella Adler on Saturday, December 11th from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm and Sunday, December 12th from 10:00 am-5:00 pm with callbacks on Tuesday, December 14th and 16th from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm. Auditions are by appointment only.
