Legendary stage and screen actress June Lockhart will emcee the annual LA Lawyers Philharmonic & Legal Voices' HOLIDAY CONCERT, with founder-conductor, Gary S. Greene, Esq., and choral director Jim Raycroft, on Saturday, December 12, at 7 p.m. at Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90010.
Critically acclaimed Maestro Gary S. Greene leads the LA Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, in a lovely evening of music. Highlights include a medley of Bernstein's West Side Story (with soloists Dave Deno, John Manier, Esq., Benjamin Natkin, Esq., Hon. Steve Perren, Mary Stanford, Bob Steinberg, Esq.), Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna (4th & 5th movements) and Christmas and Hannukah favorites.
Tony Award winner and attorney Michael Maguire will awe the audience as a featured soloist in The Impossible Dream, and he will also sing Luck Be A Lady as a tribute to Frank Sinatra's 100th Birthday. Principal cellist and retired attorney David Waller will mesmerize the crowd in an inspiring rendition of Faure's Elegie. Legal Voices' tenor and attorney Randall Garrou will sing the very popular aria Nessun Dorma from Turnadot by Puccini. Choral Director Jim Raycroft will lead Legal Voices, Cavit Celayir-Monezis will appear as a guest conductor and Tony Award-winning actress and icon, June Lockhart, will serve as the evenings Emcee.
