Carlo Ponti and the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra return at the Theatre Raymond Kabbaz with an emotional opening performance tugging at the heartstrings, featuring orchestral masterpieces by Gabriel Faure, Antonin Dvorak and the anticipated Los Angeles premiere of Frank Martin's Petite Symphonie Concertante.
Reflecting it's mission to serve as a catalyst in reaffirming, advocating and supporting music education in schools and in the community, the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra, in partnership with Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, will allocate all net profit from its' subscription concerts at Theatre Raymond Kabbaz towards the advancement and support of music education programs in educational institutions, including Le Lycée Français of Los Angeles music Dept.
Additionally, the September 29th, 2016 performance will also mark the beginning of the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra's 2016 - 2017 subscription concert series at the Theatre Raymond Kabbaz as its' official orchestra-in-residence for the upcoming season.
The 75-minute concert with an intermission will start at 7:30pm and will take place at Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz, 10361 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90064 (310-286-0553). Individual tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for students.
