The Laguna Playhouse's third annual Moonlight Masquerade, a sophisticatEd Halloween party to benefit The Playhouse in its annual fundraising efforts, has become one of the most unique and favored in town. This year's event--made even more popular by the previous years record attendance-takes place in Laguna Beach on Saturday, October 29, 6:30 pm at Tivoli Too.
Co-chairs
Deborah Mayhew and Heidi Miller invite guests to arrive in costume for this sparkling evening of revelry featuring music by the All Stars Live band, spooky spirits and beverages, buffet dinner, tricks ‘n treats, fortune teller, costume contests, a spine-tingling opportunity drawing, a silent auction, and complimentary valet parking.
According to Amy Larson, Director of Development, "This year's goal is significant as we attempt to raise more than last year's revenue of $60,000. Proceeds from the party benefit the many programs of The
Laguna Playhouse, including the theatre's award-winning education programs that bring the magic of live theater to more than 10,000 school children every year. As a not-for-profit arts organization,
The Playhouse relies on contributions to cover 40% of our annual budget. The money that our supporters, underwriters and sponsors provide helps us greatly in reaching-- and exceeding-- those goals."
"We are very excited to co-chair our third Moonlight Masquerade! We had a great turnout last year, and look forward to an even more successful event for
The Playhouse this year. Moonlight Masquerade 3 provides guests with a theatrical and philanthropic way to support
The Playhouse. You're guaranteed to be tricked, treated, spooked and frightfully entertained!" say co-chairs
Deborah Mayhew and Heidi Miller, who are again leading an Event Committee of 20 creative and energetic community leaders and philanthropists who promise guests a memorable and lively night. Event committee members include: Michelle Bendetti, John Benecke,
Christy Coffey, Maryann Herrera, Jayne Finch, Amy Larson, Ilona Martin, Leslie Anne Mogul, Diane Mondini, Justin Myers,
Eric Nicoll, Cheryl Norton, Madeleine Peterson, Sheila Sayegh, Fowzia Temori,
Terri Turner, Temre Vouga, Robin Woods.
Sponsorship opportunities (which include tickets to the event) are available at the $1000, $3000, $5000, $7500 and $12,000 levels. A limited number of individual event tickets are available for $125 each.
