The Hollywood Encore! Producers' Awards Extend Festival Fun Through August

The Hollywood Encore! Producers' Awards returns for the ninth year with extended runs of the best of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, running June 28 thru August 31, 2018 at at twelve Hollywood venues. Produced by Combined Artform, this year's extensions feature an exciting selection of exceptional ensemble and solo work at Actors Company, Aeriform Arts Studios, LA LGBT Center, Lounge Theatre, McCadden Place Theatre, Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre, Studio C, Studio/Stage, The Complex Hollywood, The New Collective, Three Clubs, and Thymele Arts. With multiple shows per venue each weekend and the special deals and gatherings at Three Clubs bar, the action-packed atmosphere of the Hollywood Fringe Festival vibe will continue through August.

The Winners of the Hollywood Encore Producers' Award (ENCORES) represent the best of the Hollywood Fringe Festival selected by participating venues based on artistic merit, commercial potential and development possibilities. The extensions immediately follow the Festival. Shows receive valuable extensions giving them the opportunity for additional audience, press, awards and possibly longer runs. Past winners of The Hollywood Encore! Producer Awards have gone on to tour nationally and enjoy extended commercial runs in the Los Angeles area.

In addition, Darren Lee Cole, Artistic Director of the Soho Playhouse and Executive Director of the NYC ENCORE Series, awarded an invite to "Dr. Jekyll and Mr,Hyde" to the NYC Encore Series to perform there later this year.
