The Grove Theatre invites you to join us on Saturday, May 15th for "The Sounds of Gospel", an evening of music for the soul.
For years people have wanted Sherry Kinison, gospel singer, recording artist and owner of the Grove Theatre, to do a gospel concert. That concert is finally happening on May 15th, along with invited vocalists Anne Johnston-Brown, composer and recording artist, RaShonda Johnson, gospel singer, and Larry Pitcher, Pastor of the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene, and former professional jazz trumpet player, to join her. Dick Zahnhiser, organist for the First Presbyterian Church of Upland, will be on the keyboard. Bob Summers, brother of Mary Ford, wife of 1950's rock and roll legend, Les Paul, and guitar player for the First Presbyterian Church will be on the guitar. Keith Swann, Bill Kinison, Pete Cole and other favorites will also perform.
The community has come together to make this evening of music for the soul happen, and it is one not to be missed. Tickets are $15 general admission, with senior, student and group discounts available. Tickets can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, or by visiting The Grove box office or website at http://www.grovetheatre.com. Discounts are only available through the Box Office. Join us for a wonderful evening for family and friends.
