The Group Rep presents the world premiere of Gus Krieger's THE ARMADILLO NECKTIE, directed by Drina Durazo, produced by Troy Whitaker. The jet black comedy takes place on the border of Iraq and Iran where U.S. Army Colonel Ulysses Simpson Armadillo with help from his trusty Executive Officer Buckley Dunham, has been searching tirelessly for the native insurgents who, years ago, murdered his beloved wife.
The Group Rep cast includes the talents of Bert Emmett (GRT Cobb), Morgan Lauff (GRT That Lovin' Feelin') Jennifer Laks (GRT Don't Dress for Dinner), Matt Calloway (Hollywood Fringe/The Porters of Hellsgate Breaking Bard), Shanti Ashanti (BET movie "Gun Hill") and Larry Eisenberg (Col. Armadillo U/S - GRT Bach at Leipzig).
The design team includes Chris Winfield and J. Kent Inasy (Set Design), Angela M. Eads (Costume Design), J. Kent Inasy (Lighting Design), Todd Ball and Hisato Masuyama (Prop Design), Joe Chang (Illustration Design), and Doug Haverty (Graphic Design).

The play runs June 17 through July 31, 2016, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm.
