The Group Rep Presents STRING OF PEARLS At Lonny Chapman Theatre 7/31-9/5

The Group Rep presents Michele Lowe's STRING OF PEARLS directed by Sherry Netherland, produced by Gina Yates, featuring Michele Bernath (OVER THE RIVER/GRT), Katelyn Ann Clark (MRS CAGE/NoHo Actors Studio), Lareen Faye (BABYThe Musical/GRT), and Sean Kathryn O'Connor (Gutta Beautiful, New Federal Theatre), N.Y. The play runs July 31 through September 5 at the Lonny Chapman Theatre, 10900 Burbank Boulevard, in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood 91601.

Michele Lowe's radiant play explores the possibilities that open up in the lives of an array of women as they come into contact with a certain strand of pearls. While the pearls are stolen, bought, bestowed, unstrung and nearly lost, four actresses play 27 characters in this deeply moving drama that is as fresh as it is funny. Spanning 35 years, the pearls touch the lives of mothers and daughters, sisters and friends, even husbands and wives as they weave a deeply affecting story of love and loss.
