The Echo Theater Company Presents EVERYTHING WILL BE DIFFERENT, Opens 10/15

The Echo Theater Company will present the west coast premiere of EverythingWill Be Different, A Brief History of Helen of Troy, a play by Mark Schultz, directedby John Lawler. Everything Will Be Different will play one preview performance on October 14 and is set to open on Friday, October 15 at 8:00pm. The engagement runs through Sunday, November 14.

Everything Will Be Different tells the story of teenaged Charlotte, whose beautifulmother is dead. In the midst of her own grief and her father's unwillingness to cope, sheturns to the story of Helen of Troy for comfort, convinced that beauty, desire and famecan help her bring her mother back and punish the world that took her away in the firstplace. Charlotte finds herself searching in fantasy for what she cannot find in reality, and she ends up destroying the life and dreams of perhaps the only friend she ever really had. In the depths of pain, she comes to discover an unexpectEd Grace.

Directed by John Lawler, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) WallaceBruce, Bobby Campo, Bryan T. Donovan, Alana Dietze, Liz Fenning, Christopher Fields,and Jarrett Worley. The design team includes set by Frederica Nascimento, lighting by Jared A. Sayeg, sound by Patricia Cardona, and costumes by Audrey Eisner. Andre Myers will compose original music and Lara E. Nall is the production stage manager.Lauren Bass and Tara Karsian will produce for The Echo.

Everything Will Be Different will play one preview performance on Thursday, October 14, and opening night is set for Friday, October 15 at 8:00p. The five-week only engagement will end on Sunday, November 14. Performances areFridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 7:00pm.
