Housed in the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and Spa, The Coterie is LA's newest musical playground. On any given night, audiences can expect to see performances from the best musical talent from Broadway, Film, TV, and the Indie Music scene.

The Coterie's upcoming shows include:

Tuesday, January 17
Cortes Alexander in “The Swell Show”. The Coterie presents Cortes Alexander, star of Broadway’s Liza’s at the Palace, in an exclusive Los Angeles two-week residency. Cortes Alexander’s "The Swell Show", will feature guest performances by Melissa Bailey and Jennifer Rappo. Musical direction by Ross Kalling. Opening for Mr. Alexander will be the much anticipated return of The Lovely Carol. Show starts at 8:30pm. Tickets are $5-20.

Sunday, January 22
When You Wish Upon a Star. An intimate concert event featuring music from classic family films, performed by actors from film, animation, and Broadway. Current cast includes Broadway & Disney Channel stars Christy Carlson Romano (Beauty & the Beast, “Even Stevens”, “Kim Possible”) and Carla Renata (The Lion King, “Shake It Up”, CW’s “Heart of Dixie”), Broadway star & recording artist Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof), Disney voiceover artist Julie Garnye (Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure), Talia Thiesfield and OWN Network & YouTube star Ryan O’Connor. A large portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Children’s Action Network. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $5-30.

Tuesday, January 24
Anjali Bhimani – It’s Happening Again. You know how it goes - I'll never love again...and then suddenly you're Britney Spears, oops I did it again-ing. Join Broadway star Anjali Bhimani for a comic and heartfelt evening of songs of love, loss, lust, and laughs (and sweet potato tater tots...) Featuring Jonny Morrow, Nick Perez, Anthony Starble, and Rob Humphreys. With songs by Anjali Bhimani, Norah Jones, k.d. lang, Ty Taylor, Susan Tedeschi, and more! Miranda Sings LIVE! International YouTube sensation Miranda Sings is coming back to Los Angeles! She will be joining forces with celebrity guests to bring you a night filled with improvisation, hit songs, onstage voice lessons, magic tricks, and dramatic readin...gs of hate mail. The quirky superstar has performed her one-woman cabaret show to sold-out cabaret rooms and theaters in New York, London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dublin, and Sydney. Special guests include GLEE’s Lindsay Pearce & Curt Mega, and American Idol’s Todrick Hall & Tori Kelli. Shows start at 8:30pm. Tickets are $10-$25.

February 10-19, 2012
Red Carpet Memories: A Musical Celebration of The Academy Awards. A spectacular concert event featuring all Oscar-nominated songs, right next door to the actual Oscars! Relive your favorite musical movie moments with Fred & Ginger, Judy Garland, the kids from Fame and more! 6 performances only, the perfect way to celebrate awards season! The cast of Broadway stars and recording artists to be announced soon. Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30pm, Sundays at 8pm. Tickets are $10-30.

February 22, 2012
Amir Levi: Closer to Myself. Only a week after Valentine's Day, critically-acclaimed actor Amir Levi performs Closer to Myself: a collection of songs that touch on the different men Amir has loved and lost in his search for Mr. Right. Amir performs covers of songs originally performed by women who have inspired him, including Madonna, Indigo Girls, Bonnie Raitt, Cher; as well as new music by songwriters from Amir's life. Musically Directed and Accompanied by Anthony Starble, this night promises a vulnerable glimpse into the many cycles and punches of love. www.theamirlevi.com. Show starts at 8:30pm. February 29 & March 1
Jim Caruso’s Cast Party. The Coterie presents the triumphant Los Angeles return of Cast Party! Jim Caruso’s Cast Party is a popular monthly soiree that brings a sprinkling of Broadway glitz and urbane wit to Hollywood. It’s a cool cabaret night-out enlivened by a hilariously impromptu variety show. Showbiz superstars hit the stage alongside up-and-comers, serving up jaw-dropping music and general razzle-dazzle. Caruso guides the entire affair like a bubbly cruise director, musical director Billy Stritch holds court at the ivories, and the audience is invited to participate in the festivities! It’s the party that would happen if somehow David Letterman and Ed Sullivan threw a hip house party around the grand piano! Wednesday, Feb. 29 & Thursday, Mar. 1 at 8:30pm. Tickets are $10-30.
