The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) presents TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT: Defining EXTRA-Ordinary, a unique Broadway concert event, with performances by Broadway's brightest and California's rising stars. Directed by acclaimed NYC director Stafford Arima (Carrie, Altar Boyz), TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT is the culmination of a weeklong BDF musical theatre intensive workshop taught by the industry's top directors, choreographers, and industry professionals.
TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT will transport you deep below the City of Dreams into the gritty, fast-paced world of the subway system where the B, D, and F trains are ready to propel you to the utter limits. The explosive Broadway-style cabaret will feature performances by Emmy Award-nominated choreographer and performer Spencer Liff ("So You Think You Can Dance," Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Donnie Kehr (Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys), Tituss Burgess(Tina Fey's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," The Little Mermaid), Craig D'Amico (Fiddler on the Roof), Luke Hawkins(Xanadu, Cirque du Soleil), and more, alongside talent BDF students from California. TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT will feature selections from the 2014 Tony Award-nominated "Best Musicals" Aladdin and Beautiful, the 2013 Tony Award-winning "Best Musical" Kinky Boots, as well as Dreamgirls, Crazy for You, and more.
