In an effort to reach out to its community during difficult economic times, The Actors' Gang is lowering ticket prices for the upcoming performances of Two Remarkable Journeys: The Need to Know: A Veteran's Journey from Fear to Freedom and Sock & Shoe: One Man Circus from Cirque du Soleil performer Daisuke Tsuji. Reserved seats, normally $25 at The Gang's Culver City venue, will be offered for only $15 to all performances. Additional discounts include: $10 "Late Start Friday" tickets available at the door for the 9 pm performances of Sock & Shoe when a dinner receipt from a local, Culver City restaurant is presented (some restrictions apply - call for details); and Free Admission to all shows for Veterans with Military ID.

The Need to Know: A Veteran's Journey from Fear to Freedom - the LA Weekly Award-winning coming of age story written and performed by April Fitzsimmons, former Air Force intelligence analyst and "irresistible presence" (Los Angeles Times). Fitzsimmons brings audiences along on her personal all-American journey from warrior to peace activist. Joining the military at age 17, the young recruit believes that serving her country will make a difference in the world; instead, she discovers lies and deception. Traveling from a Montana jail, into the United States Air Force, through the halls of the National Security Agency and down to the beach with the Arlington West memorial, hers is an unforgettable transformation. Veterans and other audience members are invited to engage in a Veteran's Forum following every performance except the matinees on October 17 and 24.

Sock & Shoe: One Man Circus from Cirque du Soleil performer Daisuke Tsuji takes us on a physical journey without words in an evening of two unique performance pieces developed in collaboration with Three Chairs Theatre Company. Sole Mate is a love song of simple means and large hope told through the manipulation of found object puppets. Death and Giggles mixes clowning, puppetry and modern dance to explore the absurdity of death with a story of one man's journey through the afterlife.
