The 20th Anniversary Celebration for Towne Street Theatre Continues With 6/29 5K Walk

The 20th Anniversary Celebration for Towne Street Theatre continues with a 5K Walk on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Kenneth Hahn Park, 4100 S. LaCienega Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90056. The walk event time is 8:00 am - 12 noon, with on-site registration beginning at 7:30 am in the recreation area.
Registration for the 5K Walk is $20.00, with free registration for children under 12. For those who don't want to walk, but want to attend the event, registration is $10.00. There is early online registration, and all who register prior to May 30th are automatically entered into the 5K Walk Raffle. To register online please visit www.townestreet.org. A unique outdoor experience, a day filled with entertainment, prizes, refreshments, and a 5K Walk lead by Super Bowl Champion, former San Francisco 49er, Dana Hall!
Founded in 1993, with a mission of producing and developing original works reflective of the African American experience, Towne Street Theatre is now in it's 20th year of providing quality theater. An oasis for creativity and imagination; a theatre that continues to help bridge the cultural divide by bringing artists and audiences of all colors together. Towne Street Theatre is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation. Donations are tax deductible to the extent the law allows. All proceeds and donations benefit ongoing Towne Street Theatre programming, including the 10-Minute Play Festival; Children's Programming, Original Plays; Black Classic Play Series; and the TST Reading Series.Comments
