ABOUT THE CAST:

Karen Roberson, a Compton California native was an honor student at California State University Dominguez Hills where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Arts and Communication. She also obtained an Associate Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Los Angeles Southwest Community College.

She is the Owner and CEO of Mahogany Girl Productions LLC. MGP is a performing arts and community event based Production Company bridging performing arts, community, education and entertainment together on one platform in efforts to change the world one project at a time. MGP also host community and charity events fostering community involvement and positive change in the spirit of love and unity.

She is also the Founder and President of Mahogany Stars Inc, a 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt Nonprofit Organization providing programs for youth and young adults in underserved communities such as community building, financial literacy, career planning, communication skill building, self-advocacy, community outreach, self-awareness, college prep, educational assistance, mentorship programs, scholarships and more.

A consummate singer, actress, writer and producer, some of her stage credits include 'Before It Hits Home', 'The Crowded Room', 'Talking Bones' 'African Company Presents Richard III', 'The Vagina Monologues', 'Intimate Apparel' 'Meetin in the Ladies Room' and 'Flyin' West' 'The Conversation' and 'Roxy' to name a few. Karen has also been featured in films such as "The Last Man Standing" Carte Blanche" and "Cut". In her most notable performance, she worked with Jo Marie Payton (Harriet Winslow, 'Family Matters' ABC Network) and starred in her One Woman play, 'The Drama That Surrounds Me, The Incomplete Autobiography of Jo Marie Payton' which had a successful sold out run in Los Angeles and was also featured at the Miami Theater Festival. Karen produced "A Woman Called Truth - The Sojourner Truth Story", The Miss Greater West Coast Scholarship Pageant and her riveting and powerful original stage production "The Penis Monologues - The Long Hard Truth" that she wrote and directed which is set to kick off it's national tour in 2018. She performed at various venues including Hollywood's 'The Sunset Room', Leimert Park's '5th Street Dicks', 'The Wilshire Ebell' 'The Fox Theater' 'The World Stage' 'The Conga Room', The Shrine Auditorium, Hollywood's House of Blues and the Saban Theater.

Tobyus Green, (Angry Penis), A Memphis, TN. native, received his Bachelor's in Psychology, and Speech Communication and Theatre at Tennessee State University in Nashville,TN. When Tobyus realized that acting was his passion, he never left the stage. Before coming to California, he had been on set and worked with Terrence Howard,Mario Van Peebles, Michael Clark Duncan, Craig Brewer, John Singleton, and Christopher Cain, to name a few. Tobyus just stepped off stage with Loretta Devine and Ernest Thomas in Don B Welch's hit stage play, "A Change Is Gonna Come". Other stage credits include "Life Stories" by Donald B. Welch, "The Penis Monologues: The Long Hard Truth" by Karen Roberson, "Love Soul Deep" by Patricia Cuffie-Jones, "How To Marry The Bank" by J. R. Wortham, and the list goes on. Films include, "Masterminds" by David Keary, "Hustle and Flow" by Craig Brewer, "The Road to Redemption" by Mario Van PYOUles, Congratulations" by Eric Levy, and a few others. He sees ministry through each character he gets an opportunity to bring to life. He is thankful to each and every director, for trusting him to tell their stories, and to do what he loves. Each and every performance is dedicated to his late father, James L. Davis. Somebody told him,"be the best YOU, you can be" (Darius McCrary).

LAMONT YOUNG (Broken Penis) has been acting on stage and in film for 20 years. He has played Martin Luther King Jr. In the play The Meeting , CJ in the Soldier's Play , and recently portrayed the role of The Broken Penis in the play The Penis Monologues written and Directed by Karen Roberson . He has a passion for displaying the complexity and various expressions of the human condition and believes that he has been gifted in helping others to heal through the arts.

SAMUAL SIMMONS (Devoted Penis) grew up in Los Angeles, CA by way of Dallas, Texas. Knowing that acting was more than just a hobbie- it is instrumental to the essence of the air he breathe- he went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from California State University, Dominguez Hills. He has been an array of production, including Topdog/Underdog, To Kill A Mockingbird, Do Lord Remember Me, Jitney, Before it Hit Homes, and Karen Roberson's the Penis Monologues "The Long Hard Truth just to name a few. He believes art is more than just entertainment. Art is a catalyst that can be used to inspire change, create hope and help to heal the brokenness of the world.

LUCKY CONNER (Loving Penis) Lucky Conner is currently featured in the stage play The Penis Monologues "The Long Hard Truth" written and directed by Karen Roberson, of Mahogany Girl Productions LLC. Lucky's most current National Commercial by Progressive was filmed in 2017. He has also been featured in other National Commercials to include General Electric, Dairy Queen,Samsung,Ford Fiesta, and McDonalds. Lucky has featured in films such as RED TAILS, directed by Anthony Hemingway and film maker George Lucas.He also featured in the role as Gabriel in the film "Friends & Lovers",directed by Maurice Jamal. In 2016, Lucky worked on a couple Pilot series, one directed by Anthony Hemingway titled "THE INFAMOUS"; And also a pilot series titled "Refugee's", directed by Maluku McCray, and writer Craig Davidson. Lucky Conner began his career as a professional hip hop dancer. Opening his career touring with international selling artist, allowing him to work with and make great connections with A-LIST artist , actors. These connections allowed him to be introduced into the acting field.

In his spare time, Lucky enjoys mentoring, meditation, hiking, yoga, basketball, and taking Capoeira classes. He also co-owns his photography business with his brother Len Conner, LuckyVirgoPhotography.

With Lucky's ambition on the rise,he is looking forward to doing bigger and brighter things as an actor,writer,producer,art director,and director; always open to learning and applying effectively along the way. Lucky is currently working on two projects of his own; writing a pilot series titled "SWITCH" in which he also plans on acting, directing and producing.This will be his first project under his own Production Company "Grabbing TheBull By The Horns". Lucky is excited about making surprising waves in all areas on the big screen.

MARWAN GRANVILL (Disappointed Penis), Pendulum TV Network is owned and operated by the CEO and founder of Pendulum Studios LA (PSLA),Marwan Granville. Mr. Granville received a degree in Fine Arts graduating from Sacramento City College and Bachelor degree in Social Science and minor in Theatre Arts at Portland State University. He has guest starred on shows like All of Us and Till death and now as of recently Marwan booked a speaking role and stunt work on the feature film "Chocolate City", a lead role in the indie feature "A Day of Troubles" co starring Omar Gooding, Hawthrone James and Kathleen Bradley. Since taking the opportunity to be exposed to three informative years at a major network allowed PSLA's CEO, Mr. Marwan Granville to build up 60% of a national broadcasting television network. After exploring all departments from being an intern to landing a position as Director of Programming, Executive Assistant to founder and CEO. Marwan Granville decided to launch his own internet, satellite, television network called Pendulum TV Network. Now as the CEO and Founder of Pendulum Studios LA (PSLA), Mr. Granville sought out a profitable platform to form a line of worldwide distribution that would allow independent producers, writers, directors and creators an opportunity to monetize their creativity while revolutionizing the way consumers view TV, Film and Music.Pendulum TV Network is owned and operated by the CEO and founder of Pendulum Studios LA (PSLA), Marwan Granville. LOUIS KAMERON JACK (Empty Penis), an Inglewood native have always had a passion for performing arts. He's a writer and actor. Some his projects include "Loving You is Killing Me" which he wrote, directed and starred in and he can also be seen in the role of the "Empty Penis" in Karen Roberson's powerful production of The Penis Monologues "The Long Hard Truth".

REGGIE MYLES (I Don't Penis) Born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Reggie Myles dreamed of acting as a child. He got his chance in the hit play Colorblind. Since then he's been in over nine stage productions. such as Don Welch's The Misfits, Ferguson the Musical, a Lead in He calls me Rib, and the up and coming Karen Roberson's the Penis Monologues "The Long Hard Truth". You can also see him in the movie DIRTY and When Pride Comes Before the Fall. Be on the lookout for Reggie in the future.

IDRESS DEGAS (I Do Penis) - Classically trained Chicago native Idrees Degas made his debut in the play "The Heritage" and later at The Goodman Theater in "Ma Rainy's Black Bottom." Other theatre credits include, Six Letters in Harlem, A Soldiers Play in which Idrees plays Sgt. Waters, Amistad, Birth of The Blues and Invitation rto a Stranger. Idrees is proud to be apart of The Penis Monologues" The Long Hard Truth." written and directed by Karen Roberson. Idrees is a student of The Meisner Technique of training at The Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and later in Los Angeles at The John Ruskin School of acting and Ivanna Chubbick Studio. Idrees recently booked "Ballstreet", a comedy pilot starring Don Cheadle and Andrew Rannells for the cable network Showtime directed by Seth Rogen. Currently, Idrees can be seen in the eight time award winning film " Regionrat" directed by Javier Reyna and written by Richard Laskowski. Regionrat won critical acclaim at The Barcelona Planet Film Festival for best narrative feature film, The Chandler International Film Festival for best feature film, The Fesiigious International Film Festival. The Utah Film Festival and Awards, The 18th Annual First Glance Film Festival and The London Independent Film Awards. Regionrat will make its Los Angeles Primiere Saturday night at The Lammle North Hollywood Theatre. Idrees can also be seen in the Sci Fi Thriller film "One Under the Sun" , directed by Vincent Tran & Riyanna Hartley. It made it's internatiional world premiere in 2016 Cannes Film Fesitival and just recently Gravitas Ventures acquired the rights to the science fiction drama. The film premiered in the US on Feb. 25 2017 and can be seen on seen on Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Reviews were written by Huffington Post, Indie Wire and Deadline Hollywood. Even the Marvel Comics Stan Lee noted that " One Under the Sun" brings the audience on an emotional journey and challenges the their notions of war. Idrees plays Dir. Bowe who races through a breathless manhunt to capture a fugitive after she discovers she possesses an extraordinary gift. Their non-stop chase is one of exhilarating speed- all out. His mission is to silence her. Other film credits include Scandal in which Idrees plays a West African Prime Minister opposite Actress Kerry Washington, Supergirl, American Crime Story, which he plays an Islamic body guard opposite Actors Courtney B. Vance and John Travolta. Idrees is looking forward to working in the next Emmy Award series or any feature opposite Meryl Streep.

DEJUAN CHRISTOPHER (My Penis Matters) A South Carolina native, is an actor, writer, and producer. DeJuan is the C.E.O. of Colors of Vision Entertainment (C.O.V.E.) where the mission is bringing African Art, Culture, and History to the forefront through entertainment. He holds a BFA in Theatre from Francis Marion University and is a graduate of the STC program at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. DeJuan has starred in Charles H. Fuller's award winning play 'A Soldier's Play' as Private Peterson and Larry Americ Allen's award winning play 'The Expulsion of Malcolm X' as Malcolm X. This portrayal earned him a review from the San Francisco Chronicle as an excellent delineator in a must see drama. He has many theatre and film credits, and can currently be seen as My Penis Matters in Karen Roberson's play 'The Penis Monologues "The Long Hard Truth".

MIKE STRONG (EXOTIC PENIS) Although Vallejo CA owns Mike Strong enormous fan base know him as "Profit the Problem" from Lifetime's Hit show Vivica's Black Magic, Mike is no stranger to the big screen, little screen or theatrical stage. He has been featured on the HBO series "The Leftovers" and films including "Chocolate City 2: Vegas", Sharane, Quarantine and the "Wrath of Cain". He has graced the stages in his current home of Los Angeles in several Don B Welch productions such as "Love Buddies", "Life Stories" and "Living Ain't Easy Dying is Beautiful". Mike has been seen in numerous TV commercials such as Nike, Metro PCS and T Mobile and also in music videos with Hip Hop Music Icon Dr. Dre, Akon, Snoop and Britney Spears.
