THE MIRACLE WORKER, THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR and INTO THE WOODS headline CSU Fullerton's 2016 spring season. Scroll down for details!

William Gibson's Tony Award-winning play based on the life of Helen Keller, The Miracle Worker, opens February 19 and runs through March 13 in the Hallberg Theatre on the California State University, Fullerton campus. The docudrama centers on the volatile relationship between the blind, deaf and mute Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan. The play premiered on Broadway at the Playhouse Theatre in 1959 and received the Tony Award for Best Play in 1960. The Miracle Worker is directed by professional director and former Dean of the College of the Arts, Dr. Joseph Arnold.

Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor follows Sir John Falstaff as he attempts to seduce two women in town with identical love letters. The clever ladies discover his deceit and turn the tables. Shakespeare's comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor is directed by Cal State Fullerton Theatre graduate student Sarah Ripper and runs March 11-March 26, 2016 in the Young Theatre on campus. 2016 marks the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare's death, and celebrations are being planned worldwide.

The Broadway hit and recent film musical Into the Woods includes music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim with book by James Lapine. Into the Woods had its world premiere at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego in 1986 under the direction of James Lapine. The award-winning musical features Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, The Baker's Wife and other fairytale favorites. CSUF's production of Into the Woods is directed by Eve Himmelheber, with musical direction by Mitchell Hanlon, and runs April 8-April 24, 2016 in the Little Theatre on campus. Contains fog, strobe lights and adult subject matter.

Don't Dress for Dinner by Marc Camoletti and adapted by Robin Hawdon runs April 22-May 8, 2016 in the Young Theatre on Campus. The comedy centers around Bernard who has planned a romantic weekend getaway with his Parisian mistress. His plans are quickly ruined with the arrival of his wife. The play ran in France and London before making its Broadway premiere in 2012 in New York's American Airlines Theatre. Don't Dress for Dinner is directed by CSUF Head of Directing Mark Ramont.

The 2015-2016 season closes with performances by award-winning dancers and choreographers in Spring Dance Theatre. Spring Dance Theatre is coordinated by CSUF Dance Professor Gladys Kares and runs May 5-May 15, 2016 in the Little Theatre on campus.
