Steve Yockey's REYKJAVIK to Close Celebration Theatre's New Works Reading Series Image

Celebration Theatre presents as its final New Works Reading of 2017, REYKJAVIK by Steve Yockey, directed by Ryan Bergmann and performing one night only on Tuesday, December 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the West Hollywood City Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente in West Hollywood.

Reykjavik is a series of connected vignettes featuring tourists in Iceland mixing with the (sometimes supernatural) locals. We eavesdrop into the private lives of lovers, "hospitality workers," party-goers, and even a handsome bird or two. This deliciously twisted and surprisingly moving play is a glimpse into a magical, dark and sometimes violent world where everyone is still hoping to find love and joy beneath the glow of the Northern Lights.

Please join us after the reading for a holiday Celebration in the lobby.
