Senior Star Power's ultimate goal is to have their own year round Senior Theatrical Arts Complex in Hollywood. As you may or may not know, all our productions are performed by talented seniors aged 60, 70 and 80 plus years young and our mission is to engage, inspire and enrich the lives of seniors through the arts to show that they are still vital, creative, energetic, productive, and entertaining. We are now gearing up for our 5th Rockin With the Ages show planned for 2014.

The Friend Raiser and Teaser will take place Sunday, November 10th at 6:00pm to be followed by a champagne reception, at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre - 4800 Hollywood Blvd (btw Western & Vermont), Los Angeles, CA 90027.

Scheduled to attend are Lily Tomlin, Morgan Brittany, George Chakiris, Hank Garret, Lee Hale, Florence Henderson, Kate Linder, Margaret O'Brien, Jerry Mathers, Lee Purcell, Joan Steiger, Alison Arngrim, Erin Murphy, Gary Martin - (retired President Sony Pictures Studios), Ron Hasson (President of NAACP), Nyla & Oscar Arslanian (Hollywood Arts Council), Councilman Mitch O'Farrell, Leron Gubler (Hollywood Chamber of Commerce), The Honorable Senator Nate Holden and former US Rep, Diane Watson. Other supporters include Tom LaBonge (President of LA City Council), Mitch O'Farrell (Hollywood Councilman), and Variety.

THE PINK LADY (Producer) - Dynamic Jackie Goldberg, reinvented herself at the age of 70, becoming an actress, motivational speaker, and producer. Now, ten years later, she is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, SAG-AFTRA. In 2007, she created a series of seminars called "Get Up, Get Out and Get A Life" to encourage seniors to discover new ways to enhance their lives. Barbara Van Orden (Associate Producer) - She has been touring the country with her critically acclaimed cabaret act, since recovering from the devastating accident that resulted in 18 surgeries and years of rehabilitation. "Barbara was crossing the street when she was hit by a car that resulted in 12 breaks in her right leg, five breaks in the left, internal bleeding, crushed back, broken ribs, a fractured disc in her neck and a three inch gash in her skull. After years of therapy, life was still being lived from a hospital room and she had to learn to walk all over again." Before the accident she was a leading cover model and represented products such as Leggs, Ford, American Express, Clairol, Ivory Snow, Donna Karan, Maybelline, Calvin Klein, Chistian Dior, and much more. Before her career at the top, literally, came to a crash, she was opening for many of the industries greats, including Frank Sinatra, Milton Berle, Don Rickles, Buddy Hackett, Morey Amsterdam, Soupy Sales and Red Buttons, in addition to appearing as a headliner at all of the Playboy Clubs. She is currently a sponsoring producer for the critically acclaimed LA's NEXT GREAT STAGE STAR, that has given many undiscovered talents their start on Broadway.
