Daytime TV's biggest stars will read Agatha Christie's tale THE UNEXPECTED GUEST on Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21 at the Soap Fan Mystery Theatre.

THE UNEXPECTED GUEST tells the story of what happens when Michael Starkwedder - the unexpected guest - accidentally drives his car into a ditch on a foggy night and wanders into a nearby house to use the phone. He discovers Laura Warwick (Stefanie Powers) standing over her dead husband's body holding a smoking gun. Together they hatch an alibi, but did she do it? With a houseful of suspects to choose from, Agatha Christie keeps the audience guessing "whodunnit" right up until the shocking climax.

The production will feature Stefanie Powers as Laura Warwick. Powers is best known as Jennifer Hart in TV's classic "Hart to Hart" opposite Robert Wagner. She received two Emmy Award and five Golden Globe Best Actress nominations for this iconic role. On the big screen, has appeared in "Experiment in Terror," "Die, Die, My Darling," "The Boatnicks," and more. Her most recent stage appearances include, LOVE LETTERS with Robert Wagner, Anna in THE KING AND I in a UK and US tour, CINDERELLA in the UK, and an upcoming musical show ONE FROM THE HART.

Vincent Irizarry will play the role of Michael Starkwelder. Irizarry won this year's Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy Award for his role as villainous Dr. David Hayward on "All My Children." His first daytime television role was as Lujack in "The Guiding Light" for which he received a Daytime Emmy nomination. In 2006, prior to returning to "All My Children's" Pine Valley, he was the mysterious David Chow in "The Young and the Restless."

Together they spin a web of deceit to throw the Police Inspector - and the audience - off the track until the true killer and motives are revealed. Nothing is what it seems in this humorous and exciting mystery thriller.

She is currently the most translated individual author in the world. Her stage play THE MOUSETRAP is still running in London's West End after 57 continuous years. In a career spanning over half a century, she has written 80 mystery novels and short story collections plus 19 plays. The majority of her mysteries have been adapted for the big screen and television, many featuring her most iconic detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. As her plays continue to successfully tour England with Bill Kenwright's Agatha Christie Theatre Company, a new generation has been introduced to her works through the launch of cutting-edge video games, forever securing Agatha Christie's title - "Queen of Crime."
