SkyPilot to Rock The Fringe with Tribute to Legend Elton John

The award-winning SkyPilot Theatre Company hits the Hollywood Fringe Festival this June (2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th and 17th) with The Bitch is Back: An Elton John Cabaret, a high energy, exuberant, over-the-top look at the music of the legendary Elton John from his beginnings to the 90s. Audiences will dance and sing along to their favorite hits delivered in a whole new exciting way! Performances will be at the Three Clubs (1123 N. Vine St., Hollywood), tickets are $15.

The cabaret is conceived and directed by James Carey with vocal direction by Darci Monet. The cast includes Kelly Goodman, Marie Pettit, Tina Walsch, Erisa Byrd, and ChloeJane Busick. Hits to be covered include "Rocket Man," "Your Song," "Crocodile Rock," Can You Feel the Love Tonight," of course "The Bitch is Back" and many more!

"We are thrilled to be joining Fringe this year, and what better way to celebrate Elton John's final tour than with this amazing tribute," says James Carey, SkyPilot's Artistic Director. "SkyPilot's mission is always to provide interesting, evocative and truly entertaining theatre for our audiences, and this show is sure to do that. The show will include tracks, live music, wild costumes, all the styles of music that Elton is known for plus some surprises of our own."

About SkyPilot Theatre Company

Founded in 2004, SkyPilot is a non-profit ensemble company of resident playwrights, actors, directors and designers producing provocative, compelling and challenging new works for the Los Angeles theatre-going audience. In 2010 SkyPilot moved away from producing revivals and began writing and producing only original plays. Notable productions have included Samantha Macher's To The New Girl and War Bride, Adam Hahn's Kong: A Goddamn Thirty-Foot Gorilla, Nathan Wellman's Inhale Harmonica, Liz Shannon Miller's Light's Off, Eyes Closed, Jeff Goode's The Emancipation Of Alabaster Mcgill, Greg Machlin's Keith Haring: Pieces of a Life, and Earthbound: An Electronica Musical by Adam Hahn (book), Jonathan Price (music), and Chana Wise (lyrics). In 2017 SkyPilot launched its SkyPilot Runway development track program to workshop and help develop new plays with LA playwrights.
