Today's secret word is MORE -- as in 16 MORE performances are now on sale for "The Pee-wee Herman Show," starring Paul Reubens, live onstage in Hollywood at The Music Box @ Fonda. In the first 24 hours, the show broke the all-time Fonda box office record.

"The Pee-wee Herman Show" will have a limited engagement beginning November 8, 2009 and now through December 20. Press opening is Thursday, November 19, 2009.

Tickets are now on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. The public can follow Pee-wee Herman on Twitter @peeweeherman.

Producer Jared Geller said, "In my experience, I've never seen a run on the box office quite like we've had on 'The Pee-wee Herman Show.' Inundated doesn't even begin to describe this. So we've worked with Paul -- and Ticketmaster -- to get more performances and more tickets on sale as quickly as possible, to satisfy the demand from the public for the return of Pee-wee to the stage. The love and affection coming from the public for his return is just overwhelming."

To the generation that grew up with his groundbreaking Saturday morning television show, Pee-wee Herman is an icon. Revered by media theorists and studied in colleges, his enormous cultural influence continues to reverberate in fashion, film and television.

This new version of "The Pee-wee Herman Show," still about a wish, includes Miss Yvonne, Mailman Mike, Cowboy Curtis and Jambi the Genie, as well as Pee-wee's talking chair, Chairry, Pterri the pterodactyl, robot Conky, Magic Screen, Randy, and many more.

Many of the show's original artists, both on stage and behind the scenes are involved in this re-imagined production.

"The Pee-wee Herman Show" is produced by Jared Geller and David J. Foster.
