Sarah Hyland, Christine Lakin, Missi Pyle & More to Star in SCREAM! at Rockwell Table and Stage

ROCKWELL Table and Stage, L.A.'s premier spot for extraordinary entertainment and dining has announced the world premiere of 'Modern Family's" Sarah Hyland starring in SCREAM!, with musical direction by Brian P. Kennedy and written & directed by Michael Gans & Richard Register. SCREAM! will preview on Friday, October 10 at 8pm; Saturday, October 11 at 8:00pm and Friday, October 17 at 8pm and will open on Saturday, October 18 at 8:00pm and run through Saturday, November 15 at ROCKWELL Table and Stage, 1714 N. Vermont in Los Feliz.

Rockwell begins its new series, "The Unauthorized Musical Parodies," with a spoof of the 1996 cult horror classic, SCREAM. This hyperbolic retelling ups the ante from the camp of the original with live on-stage blood, beyond reverent narration, and the infamous killer mask donned by our very own "Screamettes." Written and directed by prolific television writers, Michael Gans & Richard Register and starring Modern Family's Sarah Hyland as Sidney with many other L.A. favorites including Missi Pyle, Christine Lakin, Nicole Parker and Jonah Platt!, SCREAM! arrives at Rockwell just in time to terrify and delight Los Angeles for the Halloween season!

The Cast of SCREAM! includes: Sarah Hyland ("Modern Family"), Missi Pyle ("The Artist," "Galaxy Quest"), Nicole Parker ("MAD TV"/Elphaba - Wicked/Broadway), Ginifer King ("Haunted Hathaways"), Alex Ellis (Bway: On a Clear Day/Catch Me If You Can), Christine Lakin (Silence! The Musical, "Family Guy"), Gwen Hollander ("The Thundermans," "Little Women"), Jonah Platt (HAIR - Hollywood Bowl), Benjamin Schrader (Original Cast: The Book of Mormon), Jimmy Ray Bennett ("Star Trek"), Tom Lenk ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Peter Vogt ("MAD TV"), Carly Jibson (Bway:CryBaby/Hairspray), Tyler Scheef (The Rocky Horror Show), John Flynn ("Improv KING"), Molly McCook ("Agents of SHIELD").

MICHAEL GANS & RICHARD REGISTER (Writer/Director) Gans & Register, Register & Gans started their career as a duo act in New York City where they were regular fixtures in the alternative comedy scene - playing Joe's Pub, Luna Lounge and Caroline's - among other spectacular dives. Time Out New York said the act was like, "Martin and Lewis on Ecstasy with just a little bump of K to take the edge off..." or something like that. They were produced on stage at Catch A Rising Star by Broadway Video. They created the animated series Spy Groove for MTV, which they wrote, produced, voice directed and played over 69 different characters. They created Sex Love and Secrets for Paramount Television and UPN and have since written and produced a butt load of TV. Their collective credits span the distance - from Circle K to Broadway.

SCREAM! will preview on Friday, October 10 at 8pm; Saturday, October 11 at 8:00pm and Friday, October 17 at 8pm and will open on Saturday, October 18 at 8:00pm and run through Saturday, November 15 at ROCKWELL Table and Stage, 1714 N. Vermont in Los Feliz.
