HBO Actress/Comedienne & Producer/Playwright Sandy Brown's hit "Oh, Yes She Did!" is nominated for Best One-Person Show at 2012 NAACP Theatre Awards, and is launching weekly performances in Los Angeles tonight, October 16, 2012.

After 100 performances in nearly 50 weeks, on the strength of a word-of-mouth following to sold-out shows bringing audiences to their feet, who return again and again. Oh, Yes She Did! is also a two-time winner of Goldstar's "Roar of the Crowd", winning in both in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Sandy Brown's innovative One-Woman performance continues pushing the boundaries of the solo-show genre, earning honors, accolades and distinction with, simply, the first part of her show, Oh, Yes She Did! -Volume I, as she morphs into legendary black women Pioneers that changed America (Volume II to launches January 2013).

Currently, "Oh, Yes She Did!" runs in Los Angeles at Theatre-Theater and in San Francisco at The Shelton Theater weekly, tickets available through BrownPaperTickets.
