Linda Hope, daughter of Bob and Dolores Hope, has announced a sale of items from her parents' Toluca Lake home on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th (tentative) at St. Charles Borromeo Church in North Hollywood, Dolores Hope's parish for 70 years.
The proceeds of the sale, featuring hundreds of items from the couple's nearby home, will honor the Hope's legacy of charitable giving and benefit St. Charles Holy Family Service Center, a charity championed and supported by Dolores Hope. The Service Center provides food, clothing and other essential items to the San Fernando Valley's neediest people.Linda Hope says, "My mother and dad would be happy to know that many of the items that gave them pleasure during their lifetimes will find new homes with their neighbors, friends and fans and knowing that this sale will benefit those in need here in their own community would have given them great satisfaction." Sometime later this year, Julien's Auctions of Beverly Hills will be announcing their auction of the "Property from the Estate of Bob and Dolores Hope".
