Praise for Mr. Burns, a post-electric play

Along with being Ovation Recommended by the LA Stage Alliance, critical buzz for Mr. Burns has been positive:

Philip Brandes, LA Times (Critics Pick):

"Today's animated sitcom might just turn out to be tomorrow's sacred text - an evolution ingeniously depicted by Sacred Fools Theater Company in the darkly comic futurist epic."

"Offering terrific value for a $15 ticket price, director Jaime Robledo and his stellar ensemble cast and technical crew make spectacular use of Sacred Fools' entire Broadwater multi-stage theater complex."

"The whole elaborate environmental experience is weird, creepy and, as its title character would proclaim it, 'Excellent!' "

No Patron will pay more than $15 for a Sacred Fools show

We believe that theatre should be accessible to everyone. That's why, for our 21st season, we've made a pledge to lower our ticket prices so that anyone who wants to experience live theatre has the opportunity to do so.

Sacred Fools Theater Company, the resident theater company of The Broadwater, 1078 Lillian Way (Santa Monica Blvd. and Lillian Way) on Theater Row, is a non-profit, ensemble-run theater company founded in 1997, committed to the development of new plays and projects that challenge traditional expectations of the theatrical experience.

Sacred Fools Company meetings are open to the public and anyone who would like to participate is encouraged to attend. The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 10thth at 3:00 pm.
