SUNNY AFTERNOON, written and Directed by Christian Levatino will be presented in a fully staged workshop production opening Friday, June 14th at 8:00pm // Hollywood Fringe Festival

Performances: Fri-June 14th at 8pm, Sat-June 15th at 8pm, Sat-June 22nd at 5pm, Fri-June 28th at 8pm, Sat-June 29th at 8pm at Theatre 6470 @ The Complex 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. 90038

An original play in 85 minutes. Based on the forty-eight hours Lee Harvey Oswald was in the custody of Dallas Homicide Captain William J. Fritz - where they discuss Van Heflin, Russia, Coca-Cola, Jim Brown, the AFL, backyard photographs & Friday afternoon in Dealy Plaza.

Christian Levatino (WRITER/DIRECTOR) is the Founder and Artistic Director of gangbusters theatre company. Since 2002 he has appeared, produced and/or directed twenty-three productions with the company. Some favorite roles with GANBUSTERS include performances in Talk Radio (Barry Champlain-LA Weekly Award nomination), Tracers (Professor-Ovation Award nominated), Hamlet (Hamlet-Backstage Garland Award nomination). In 201, Christian played Butch during the five month run of Pulp Shakespeare with "Her Majesties Secret Players," at the Asylum Theatre (LA Weekly Award nomination).

CAST INCLUDES: CORRYN CUMMINS (H.D. HOLMES) is a Chicago native LA - based actor and producer who works with Rogue Machine and Padua Playwrights; DONNIE SMITH (SECRET SERVICE AGENT FORREST SORRELS) Rogue Machine member performed in the West Coast premiere of House (LA Weekly Award nomination - Solo Performance) and the award-winning World Premiere production of Small Engine Repair (Ovation, LADCC, Backstage Garland & LA Weekly Awards) as well as the 2010 & 2011 "Around The Clock" Festival. Selected stage credits include: The Mousetrap(Drury Lane); Division Street: America (Steppenwolf). Film credits include: The Lincoln Lawyer, The Ugly Truth, The Midnight Meat Train, and Undiscovered; MICHAEL MCGILL (DETECTIVE DICK SIMMS) recent TV appearances includeShameless, Parks and Recreation, and Cougar Town; BRETT FLEISHER (LEE HARVEY OSWALD) has won a Scenie Award and LA Weekly Award and his short film Bed-Stuy Lullaby premieres at 2013 Cannes Film Festival; DIETERich Gray (ASSISTANT DA Bill Alexander) performed at Goodman, Steppenwolf, Yale Rep and in films Dogjack, and 8 of Diamonds. DARRETT SANDERS (POLICE CAPTIAN WILLIAM FRITZ) is a member at Theatre of Note and appears in the film Kill Me Deadly.
