Rogue Machine is extending the performance schedule through September 20, 2009 for the Los Angeles premiere of STOP KISS by Diana Son, the GLAAD Media Award winner for Outstanding New York production.
The consequences of love can be horrifying, and miraculously tender. Callie meets Sara and an astonishing chain of events is set into motion. This story pays homage to life's abrupt and unexpected transformations...to romance, and to the search for personal identity.
This production is directed by Elina DeSantos and Matthew Elkins and produced by John Perrin Flynn and Matthew Elkins. The cast features Christian Anderson, Kristina Harrison, Justin Okin, Deborah Puette, Inger Tudor, and Jeorge Watson.
Diana Son was awarded a Barilla Kerr Award for Playwrighting. This marks the third Los Angeles premiere production (following Steppenwolf playwright Lisa Dillman's HALF OF PLENTY and Pulitzer Prize nominee Adam Rapp's BINGO WITH THE INDIANS) for one of LA's newest (and already award winning) theatre companies, Rogue Machine.
STOP KISS opened Thursday, July 9th and now runs in rep with TREEFALL on Fridays & Mondays at 8pm & Sundays at 7pm through September 20, 2009 (no shows during Labor Day weekend). Rogue Machine in Theatre Theater is located at 5041 Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90019. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased by calling (323) 960-7774 or at www.roguemachinetheatre.com.
