This holiday season, Sister says skip A Christmas Carol and say no to The Nutcracker, and then say YES! to Sister's Christmas Catechism that returns for a limited run at The Laguna Playhouse December 13, 14 and 20.
In this hysterical seasonal sequel to Late Nite Catechism, audiences enter into the mysterious and comical world of "CSI: BETHLEHEM" as Sister tackles the question that has been puzzling historians throughout the ages: Whatever happened to the Magi's gold? Sister selects audience members to help solve the mystery through a forensic examination of the nativity scene. Sister and her sleuths hunt under the manger and over camel humps in their quest for clues.
The show's creator, Maripat Donovan, portrays Sister at all three performances. And, unlike most theatrical presentations, Sister requests that audience members bring their cameras to the show.
Performances are: Sunday, December 13 at 7 p.m.; Monday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 20 at 7 p.m.
