SACRED RESISTANCE Extended To August 18 At The Braid In Santa Monica ImageSacred Resistance, Vicki Juditz's one-woman show that tells the story of one woman's humorous and heartfelt journey to do good in the world, has been extended by popular demand until Saturday, August 18 at The Braid, home of Jewish Women's Theatre (JWT) in Santa Monica.

Sacred Resistance is a critical success. "A spectacular one-woman show," according to the Santa Monica Daily Press, which calls it a "short, touching, funny, poignant and completely satisfying one-woman show for you to be inspired by." The Jewish Journal writes, it is a "complex story presented in a light, humorous way... Juditz confronts a series of problems, with deadpan, earnest and slight wry delivery...which makes (it) funny,"

But even more impressive than positive reviews is the reaction of the audience that finds itself laughing one minute and reaching for their Kleenex.

"Jewish Women's Theatre is known for presenting one-woman shows that engage audiences and deeply touch them," says Ronda Spinak, JWT's artistic director. "Vicki Juditz has now raised our bar even higher. It's so gratifying to be able to showcase so many incredible women with meaningful and often life-changing stories to tell. But Vicki's show speaks to these times in a unique way."

Sacred Resistance is playing until Aug. 18 every Thursday and Saturday night at 8pm and on Sunday matinees at 2pm at The Braid, home of Jewish Women's Theatre, 2912 Colorado Ave., #102, Santa Monica 90404. Tickets are $35. For tickets and additional information, visit www.jewishwomenstheatre.org and click on "Buy Tickets.
