Los Angeles's hit series "For The Record" brings movies to life as never seen before and is celebrating its third anniversary by reinventing one of the audience's favorite shows, "For The Record: Baz Luhrmann." This new adaptation at Rockwell: Table & Stage will intertwine the tales of the star-crossed lovers from "Romeo + Juliet," "Strictly Ballroom," "Moulin Rouge," and "The Great Gatsby" in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience. For The Record: Baz Luhrmann begins previews tonight, August 15 and officially opens Thursday, August 22, 2013.

Conceived and created by Shane Scheel, Christopher Lloyd Bratten and Anderson Davis, For The Record: Baz Luhrmann is a spectacular retrospective of the musical magic from the Luhrmann oeuvre that brings the audience into the show against the backdrop of Verona, Paris, New York and Australia. The show stars a rotating cast from stage, screen and music performing songs from the Luhrmann films' soundtracks that include "Sparkling Diamonds," "Crazy In Love," "Lovefool," "Your Song," "Time After Time," "Like A Virgin," "When Doves Cry," "Lady Marmalade," "100$ Bill" and more. The talented singers/actors move throughout the space, bringing the show tableside, where you can also take advantage of the delicious cuisine and inventive cocktails available for purchase.

For The Record: Baz Luhrmann is directed by Anderson Davis, with choreography by Derek Ferguson, musical direction by Christopher Lloyd Bratten and produced by Shane Scheel and Siobhan O'Neill.Seating is fixed. Patrons will be assigned a seat but can adjust it when purchasing tickets online. Doors open 90 minutes prior to the show. Rockwell: Table & Stage is an intimate venue with close seating quarters, and tries to accommodate as many patrons as possible. Be prepared to make new friends. The outdoor patio space is open daily from 11am - 12am Sunday through Thursday and 11am - 2am Friday and Saturday. After work specials are served on the patio daily from 5pm - 8pm while brunch is served daily from 11am - 3pm and features health conscious lunch and brunch specials and innovative beverages.
