Rufus Wainwright Announces Select U.S. Spring Live Shows

Rufus Wainwright is readying his plans for the release of his seventh studio album, Out of the Game, available May 1^st on Decca.  The Mark Ronson-produced album will be supported with appearances around the world, including select U.S. live concerts confirmed for May.  Dates with ticket links include:

Rufus' long-awaited opera “Prima Donna” opened at BAM in New York City on February 19^th, followed by a music video shoot slated for early March in London for title track and first single “Out of the Game.”   A labor of love for both Wainwright and Ronson, Rufus calls his new album, “the most pop album I’ve ever made,” while Ronson stated, “it’s the best work of my career.”  Recorded in Brooklyn, New York in the fall of 2011, the twelve songs are hook-laden, memorably arranged tracks reminiscent of Rufus’ early work.
