Woodhaven Productions will present 'Rue Royale', a play about a recent college graduate who returns home to New Orleans following news of her father's terminal illness, as part of the 10-day Los Angeles Fringe Festival, with five performances between June 14 and 24, 2012.
'RUE ROYALE' – Sophie, a recent college grad, moves in with her best friend in the notorious French Quarter, and quickly finds herself spiraling in a storm of drugs, sex, violence and deception. In order to survive, she must find her way toward the most painful decision of her life.
'Rue Royale' plays Saturday, June 09, 3:00 PM; Sunday, June 17, 6:30 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 8:15 PM, Saturday, June 23, 5:30 PM; and Sunday, June 24, 2:00 PM at Complex Theatres 6476 Santa Monica Boulevard.
Rue Royale made its first appearance in September 2010 at the Ventura Court Theatre in Studio City. It makes its world premiere with a new cast at Hollywood Fringe '12, with Serino reprising the role of Sophie. She is currently at work on the film adaptation.
