After both critical and patron acclaim, Rodeo Town, one of the surprise hits of this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival, is coming back for one more weekend, July 19-21 at The Complex in Hollywood. Tickets are $12, and available by calling (323) 455-4585, or visiting www.hollywoodfringe.org/projects/1198.This disturbingly intense original western from Bellwether Bros. Theater Works, made quite a bit of noise at this year's festival and the producers were happy to bring it back for those that didn't get a chance to see it.

"When offered an extension, we were ecstatic and incredibly grateful to both the Fringe community and the awesome team at The Complex," said Graham Bowlin, co-artistic director of Bellwether Bros. Theater Works. "This move forward means a lot to us as we continue to shape Rodeo Town. We can't wait to return to next year's Festival and are very excited to continue on as a company, with an eye out for our next project."

A quick synopsis for Rodeo Town: Richard Hendrix is a yuppie, a dentist, a family man with a rocky marriage. He's on his way to a dental conference in San Diego and, refusing to fly, he's on a long road trip across the desert as he seeks the adventure of the open road. But the engine of his year-old Range Rover makes strange noises, so he pulls off the main highway and drives into a country town not located on the map, a place called Rodeo Town.

Richard has pulled in just in time to witness and participate in Rodeo Town's annual ritual: The one day of the year when women are brought into town so the men can engage in pleasuring with a female companion. This year, there is just one woman, but a startling woman, and after this particular alcohol-drenched festivity, neither Richard nor the cowboys will be the same ever again.
