REP Launches 7th Season with FRANKIE & JOHNNY, 1/21

The Repertory East Playhouse will open its 2011 Season with Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, by Terrence McNally and sponsored by Mission View Public Schools. "This is an amazing piece of theatre, and a challenge for us. We are all very excited for this production." says Artistic Director Ovington Michael Owston. 

Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune opens Friday January 21 with an Opening Night Gala. Join us for a complimentary wine and cheese reception at 7pm. Opening Night Gala is Sponsored by RSVP Catering and Engelmann Cellars Winery.
 
Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune will run January 21 through February 19. Show times are Friday and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. There is NO SHOW SUNDAY FEBRUARY 6th! This show contains partial nudity, adult situations and adult language and is intended for mature audiences only.

The story centers around Johnny, played by Jeff Alan-Lee, a new short-order cook in a Manhattan diner who goes home with Frankie, a waitress, played by Sasha Carrera. Johnny does everything he can to turn a one-night stand into the beginning of a lasting relationship.   Frankie does everything she can to suppress the urge to jump in and give it a try. A witty love story about what it takes to overcome our fears and take a chance on love---from Tony Award winning playwright Terrence McNally.
