Production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM to Benefit Good Shepherd Center Image

"Rock the ground whereon these sleepers be."

LOOK OUT! The woods outside Athens are a busy place on this midsummer night. Four runaway lovers find themselves smack dab in the middle of a dispute between the King and Queen of the fairies, and, as if that wasn't enough, a troupe of workWOmen are trying to rehearse an amateur play. Amongst these unlikely groups runs a punky Puck, armed with a wicked sense of humour and love potion capable of making anyone fall for the first person they set eyes upon. What could go wrong?

Performed by an all-female ensemble and accompanied by a live guitarist- our Dream fuses music and comedy in an attempt to raise money for The Good Shepherd Center. Naughty, tender, and transgressive, this modern interpretation brings the energy and spirit of Shakespeare's Globe to the Sundeck of The Everly.

Run time is 90 minutes with no intermission.

Helmed by Mikey Mulhearn (Director) the company includes Jessica Gardner (Bottom), Paige Nelson (Hippolyta/Titania), Kelsey Jean Dougherty (Thesus/Oberon), Sarah Hinchcliff (Puck), Emily Newsome (Hermia), Natalie Masini (Helena), Kelly Baskin (Lysander), Libby Wahlmeier (Demetrius), Amy Hart (Egeus), Anne Marie Montavon (Quince), Sam Sheeks (Flute), Katherine Landreth (Snout/Fairy), and Brianne Campbell (Snug/Fairy). The production will feature live music from guitarist Adam Allison.
